Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) Workshop
January 25-27, 2018
Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center – Chesterfield, MO


o  The Preventive Controls rule requires that plants have a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual within one year of the publication date(September 17, 2015) of the Preventive Controls Rule(September 2016).   

o   Plants classified as “Small”(500 or fewer employees) have until September 2017 to have a PCQI on staff.  

o   Plants classified as “Very Small”(less than 1 million dollars in revenue) have until September 2018.

The CSBWA is pleased to announce a PCQI Workshop at the Doubletree Hotel and Conference Center, Chesterfield, MO for January 25-27, 2018.  This workshop will provide anyone in the bottled water industry an opportunity to become a PCQI for their facility(ies) in compliance with the new Preventive Controls Rule.

CSBWA President Jon Ove has named Steve Tischler, NTL Labs, Cleveland, OH to succeed Heidi Charlesworth as CSBWA Education Chair.  Heidi took a position outside the industry, and has resigned from the CSBWA Board and the Education Committee Chair.

Steve is a veteran of the industry of nearly 30 years, and brings unparalleled experience in Technical and Regulatory matters, and a unique insight on Management and Marketing issues.

“Heidi served the CSBWA with energy and distinction, and we will miss her many contributions”, stated CSBWA President Jon Ove.  “Steve brings to the position a world of experience and expertise.  We are thrilled to have him tackle the Education Chair.”
